Gildas,

Thanks a lot. I missed the details towards the end of the INSTALL.win32.
I downloaded the various codecs and build seems to be getting through.

Next step is to build the VLC.exe by specifying the path of the libs.

Please, read the INSTALL.win32 file for instructions on how to build VLC for 
windows.
