[vlc-devel] Controls in VLC - Please help

Hi,
I build VLC on windows using MINW+MSYS. Run it from command line. It playes the file but,
I couldn't enable the following buttons in the GUI.

1. Open a file.
2. Add files.
3. Remove items.
4. Show preferences

How to enable the handlers for these controls?
Whihc module in the VLC-0.7.2 / VLC-0.8.0-test1 is responsible for this control?
