The etraintf rc option allows you to launch an interface accessed
through an ethernet socket connection.

Don't know if that has the controls you'll need or not, but it does
provide basic player control.  You could also look at the VLM interface.

the question was already posted, but i would like more precisions.

How can i work with libvlc in my external app written in Visual Basic ?
If someone already done this, can you tell me exactly how to do it ?

I just want the play/stop function to play an internet stream in my app.
