[vlc-devel] using OpenTCP() to receive data from a web page

Hello !

I'd like to call a web page to receive some data (playlist , database 
authentification and other), How can i do that ?
Am i supposed to use the OpenTCP function ? could someone give me some code 
to fetch a web page ?
I am actually using winsock to do this, but it is only for windows.

Another question : How can i print images in the playlist ? (the images 
will be stored on a web server).

Another question : How to store a file fetched from a webserver ?
