[vlc-devel] VLC for non-supported platform

I have been reading the VLC API documentation, in particular the
section titled:

"How to write a video output plug-in".

As I understand it, the functions mentioned in this section are
essentially the ones that need to written for supporting a
specific platform.

However, I have searched the source code for these functions and they
are nowhere to be found.

I would appreciate an update as to what functions are required to be
implemented for a particular platform - I am thinking of providing
support for OS/2.
