[vlc-devel] Mac OS X Browser Plugin

Anyone else working on reviving the Mac OS X browser plugin?

With some hacking, I've got it building, linking and then  
instantiating successfully inside Firefox.  Only file:/// URLs are  
working for me right now though, so I'm trying to work out what's  
wrong with the http access side of things.

Safari support is held back by the dependence on dylibs inside the  
Firefox package (eg libxpcom.dylib) but I'm sure that can be worked  
around.
