[vlc-devel] libVLC based media player

Hello,

  I had sent this question to vlc at videolan.org, but there were no replies. I
am trying my luck here.

  I am trying to write a simple video player based on libVLC. Nothing more
than just play stop etc. on a X. Has anybody on this list done this before ?
Alternatively, could anyone provide any examples that might be on the web
but I could not find.
