[vlc-devel] SNMP interface for VLC?

Hello, all ...

I'm wondering if anyone has thought about an SNMP interface to VLC -- 
well, anyone besides myself, anyway.  I would like to be able to 
control VLC behavior in this way, as well as receive traps when VLC 
does certain things (end of media, end of playlist, etc).
