[vlc-devel] Broken es translation file:

I just ran an SVN update, did a compile.
Compile failed, a lot of es.po errors starting with:

/usr/bin/msgmerge --update es.po vlc.pot
/usr/bin/msgmerge: es.po: warning: Charset missing in header.
                                   Message conversion to user's charset will
not
 work.
es.po:7:2: parse error
es.po:7: keyword "mine" unknown
es.po:13: keyword "r9924" unknown
es.po:29:2: parse error
