Configure command used:
-----------------------
./configure --build=i686-redhat-linux-gnu --host=i686-redhat-linux-gnu
--target=i386-redhat-linux-gnu --program-prefix= --prefix=/usr
--exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc
--datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib
--libexecdir=/usr/libexec --localstatedir=/var --sharedstatedir=/usr/com
--mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-livedotcom
--enable-debug --with-livedotcom-tree=/home/dermot/live/live.2004.12.15/
--with-ffmpeg-tree=/home/dermot/ffmpeg/ffmpeg-cvs-2004-07-12/
--disable-skins2 --enable-dvbpsi -disable-wxwindows --disable-nls
--without-libiconv-prefix
Still checked for:
------------------
checking for iconv... yes
checking how to link with libiconv... -liconv
checking for iconv declaration...
extern size_t iconv (iconv_t cd, char * *inbuf, size_t
*inbytesleft, char * *outbuf, size_t *outbytesleft);
If there isn't an easy way to remove this dependency using configure,
would anybody know which Fedora Core 3 package contains libiconv. I
have looked but been unable to find one.
Dermot.
