[vlc-devel] v4l (linux) help ?

Hi,

Can anyone help me with VLC for linux? In the windows version of VLC, for 
capture device, there is an option to configure device properties. There I 
can select the video size, the fps, the color mode, etc...

However, in VLC for linux, with the v4l driver, that option does not exist. 
Is it possible to do it via command line?

How would I, for example, configure capture for 176x144, RGB32, 15fps for 
video capture?
