[vlc-devel] DVD Navigation Doubts .. Please clear

hi devels, 

i am interested to contribute in develment ...
currently reading dvd specs ...
need to get some doubts about dvd navigation cleared ... please help

i have got VLC installed  on qt-embedded working on top of linux framebuffer...

1. how does the blending of subpictures and menu text with video ...
is it the player or the graphics library..

2. if it is player itself ... how it responds to the mouse or key hits
 in navigation menu to change the cursur position ..

3. who and how move the cursur....

ll be better if u explain or suggest docs ... on how the whole data
flows from player to the display memory ...
