The GPE (PXA/XScale) are not built for the Zaurus, but are optimized for 
the iPAQ. Needless to say that this will result in undefined behaviour. 
The correct action would be to built VLC for Zaurus yourself using the 
ipkg/rules.* scripts as examples. BTW I was not aware that Zaurus comes 
equiped with X-server, GTK2 and GPE these days? I thought it used only 
QT widget set with Opie distribution.
