Hi Michael,

there is a list of all (public) mailing-lists available on the 
developers page: <http://developers.videolan.org/lists.html>. You can 
easily subscribe to any list you want through this web-interface. All 
vlc-related svn-messages are available on vlc-devel. Archives of all 
mails are available as well.
