[vlc-devel] libcddb 1.x

Hi everybody,
there are currently plans to support newer libcddb versions? libcdio 0.76 
needs a newer version of libcddb (at least 1.0.x), but using that VLC does 
not compile the cdda plugin, as some types (for example cddb_track_t) becomes 
opaque while they were transparent.

Seems like quite a few work must be done to support that, unfortunately, and 
I'm wondering if I should just patch libcddb in Gentoo to provide transparent 
types again...
