[vlc-devel] VLC for SuSE

I hope  that I  can  port  vlc for  SuSE distribution   If  I get  
suffisant  documents for doing that . ( I am not  a specialist in  video 
or audio programming. I have not any culture about  current  video 
streams  and codecs ).
I am not happy with realplayer  for linux.

I use since a long time  SuSE  ( now I use release 9.2 ) . Before SuSE, 
I used Redhat and before RedHat, I used  Slackware  for a long time.
