[vlc-devel] How to reduce VLC's size?

Hi,
       I want to reduce VLC's main program size now, I want to disable the playlis function and some other functions such as stream-out, is there any simple way to remove them? If there are some macro-definition for these modules or plugins-like it'll be very good. But I didn't find.
       So, can VLC developers help me?
