[vlc-devel] [PATCH] Update .desktop file

Hi,
For the next patchset I'm going to do to vlc on Gentoo, I've been thinking 
that I can replace the .desktop skeleton autogenerated in the ebuild with the 
one shipped with vlc itself in debian/ directory. Unfortunately that does not 
completely fill the requirements we usually have, so I have to patch it a 
bit.

The attached patch is what I'm going to apply, that should be safe for 
everyone, not only Gentoo.

It would also be useful if it was installed by default by the make install 
process in /usr/share/applications when wxWidgets interface is built, 
requiring less work and maintenance from this side :)
