[vlc-devel] The 0.8.4 release plans

Hello everyone,

It seems it is very difficult to keep to a good feature freeze.
Therefore on IRC we just decided to branch out.

Please look at Roadmap for more details on the branches, milestones  
and targets:

Now if we all concentrate on getting this 0.8.4-test2 release out,  
then we can move along. It has been TOO long already AGAIN. (we never  
learn I know).
I intend to have this test2 release out before monday morning. And as  
you can see from the 0.8.4-test2 milestone description, I won't wait  
for anything that isn't classified with priority High or Critical.

Would everyone PLEASE use Trac for registering known bugs and issues?  
You cannot expect fellow developers to work on things like this  
without it being in Trac. All developers with SVN access should have  
Trac access. If you don't, please contact dionoea or zorglub or me.  
Now lets get a move on.
