It seem that some file are not found... Check your path...

I just did :
./configure --with-mad=libmad-0.15.1b 
--with-ffmpeg-tree=/home/kevin/videolan/ffmpeg
--with-faad-tree=/home/kevin/videolan/faad2-20040923
--with-sdl-tree=/home/kevin/videolan/SDL-1.2
--with-libmpeg2-tree=/home/kevin/videolan/mpeg2dec-0.4.1-cvs
--with-wxWidgets-tree=/home/kevin/videolan//wxWidgets-2.6.2 --enable-mozilla
--enable-snapshot --enable-mediacontrol-python-bindings

And it works, but did you get the files from here
http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/browser/trunk/bindings/mediacontrol-python/
and copy them to you /bindings/mediacontrol-python directorie
