[vlc-devel] adding v4l2 support help

Hi,
    I want to add v4l2 support under vlc. I need guidelines for some points
1) do i need to replace v4l directory by v4l2?
2) i saw code once not in detail but did not fine any v4l specific
code? is am i missing something?

I saw that its easy to upgrade to v4l2 if i have that device which i have.
