[vlc-devel] Feature request - Jump forward/backward intervals.

vlc 0.8.1 provides three time intervals for jumping forward and backward
in a video file by means of hotkeys: 10 seconds, 1 minute, and 5 minutes.

Would it be possible to add additional intervals, or make the intervals
user-definable? In particular, a 30 second interval would be most
useful, for me at least, in jumping over advertising segments in recorded
television shows.

Perhaps something like this has been implemented in later versions of
vlc ? I'm currently running vlc 0.8.1, which appears to be the most
recent version available as a binary under my current Fedora Core 3
rersion of Linux.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Regards,
Charles Sullivan
