[vlc-devel] Guidelines on developing Plug-ins?

Hi All,

I am trying to implement pay-per view kind of functionality using the
VLM VoD functionality.
For this I would like to have a capability where the streaming server
(in this the VLC with the help of VLM) to be indicating the stream
access information to be provided to an external application. How would
I go about doing this? Are there any guidelines to develop plug-ins? Or
should I take the source code for VLM and put hooks to do this?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
