[vlc-devel] accessing audio PCM samples in VLC

Hi guys,
I need to access the audio samples currently playing in VLC to perform some
audio recognition over them. I tried to use the libvlc but the audio methods
are just to adjust the volume and to give basic orders to the player...
Can someone give me a hand please ?
