Hello,

This is a wrong behaviour from VLC: bonjour failure should not be a
failure condition in my opinion.

The version of the code you have doesn't allow disabling bonjour, so you
either have to start the avahi daemon (install the avahi-daemon package)
or upgrade your VLC to a recent (less than 1 week) snapshot, and run it
with --no-sout-http-bonjour.

Anyway, the code should be changed here to only print a warning if bonjour
fails.
