[vlc-devel] Assertion `snd_pcm_format_linear(slv->format)' failed

vlc: pcm_plug.c:384: snd_pcm_plug_change_channels: Assertion 
`snd_pcm_format_linear(slv->format)' failed.

This error seems to come up when a file with 32kHz sound should be 
played. But VLC doesn't seem to resample upon failure.

Soundcard:
Intel 82801BA-ICH2 with AD1885 / ALSA.

The issue doesn't occur when playing 48kHz files.
