well, the following is the output debug messages when i ran a small mp4
file
using vlc0.8.4a, the processor is ARM and the speed 400MHz, and the
performance is not as bad as is expected, but a longer clip plays
smoothly
after about 2 seconds of dropped frames. this clip didnt have any output
because all frames were dropped. the audio never stabilised on this
board.  i
hope somebody would have some suggestions that i can use to better the
player.
