You can download the appropriate po file here:
http://people.via.ecp.fr/~dionoea/videolan/ar.po

I guess that you know how to handle these po files as you are already
translating other software. ( If not, you should give poEdit a try -
http://poedit.sf.net )

Once you're done with the translation, send me an email with the ar.po
file and i'll add it to VLC.
