[vlc-devel] Problems using VLC OSX with JackOSX

Hi,

I'm trying to run latest VLC 0.8.4a on OX under the Jack audio system.

JackOSX  (http://www.jackosx.com/) is the OSX implementation and  
integration of the open-source Linux project Jack (http:// 
www.jackaudio.org/)
Basically Jack allows to pipe audio streams between applications. On  
OSX,  a CoreAudio user-space driver called "JackRouter"  behaves as a  
bridge between the Jack world and CoreAudio so that any (almost...)  
CoreAudio application can take profit of Jack inter application audio  
streaming feature.

VLC does not work yet with JackRouter. I would need help from the VLC  
OSX audio developers to solve the problem.
