Hello,

The video output is destroyed if it has not been claimed after 1 second
(this value is modifiable in src/playlist/playlist.c:544).

So if your file needs more than 1 second to open, the vout will be
destroyed.

For a real reuse, you might try using --sout '#display' --sout-keep, but
I'm not sure it actually works.
