[vlc-devel] bug/feature request: annodex over http lack playhead

when playing annodex streams over http no playhead is visible. For
example put this url into VLC you get no playhead
http://metavid.ucsc.edu/media/senate_11-14-05.ogg.anx?t=0:42:14/0:42:39
But if you download that file to disk and open it with vlc you do get a
playhead and scrubbing works and the original time-codes are preserved
(thats cool)

Is their any way we could get the play head to work over http? Is the
problem based on the way mod_annodex is serving the stream? Or can this
be fixed within vlc?
