[vlc-devel] Bug reporting

Keeping track of bug reports from the forums or mailing list makes us
loose too many of them. I'd thus like to open the trac bugtracking
system to more users. The idea would be: let the users create their own
trac accounts and ask them to come on IRC or something to get it
validated so they can post bug reports (which would prevent spam). To
make it easier to track those user reported bugs, we could limit normal
accounts so that they can only create new tickets in a "user submited
tickets" category and reply to existing tickets in all categories.
