[vlc-devel] clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity

What is the reason for the following messages in the log? Might it be that I have chronyd
(ntp daemon) running on the machine?

...and here follows two days of the same messages.

After first "almost fed" message the output stream is broken. Either video or
audio is missing.

Is it possible to rate limit "almost fed" messages and if they are more than X
per minute to stop encoding and quit vlc?
