I know that i386 kinda sucks at PIC code. My point is: it makes absolutely NO
SENSE at all to ***package*** a statically linked ***plugins***. Statically
linked plugins are to be built in libvlc.a in the build tree, and would be a
pure waste of disk space in /usr/lib/vlc/.
