[vlc-devel] Version number

Hi all,


I've seen several bit of IRC conversation speaking about 0.8.5-1

It can be confusing for users(look at the version string in debian), a
pain for packager(rpm).

So i propose to rename 0.8.5-1 in 0.8.6  and the trunk in 0.8.7 or 0.9.0
as there is a lot of changes.( codename to be decided ).
