[vlc-devel] undefined symbol: dbus_connection_disconnect

After a recent update, I am seeing the following undefined symbol error.
Did the api change?

[00000001] main vlc warning: cannot load module
`/usr/lib/vlc/misc/libscreensaver_plugin.so'

dbus_connection_disconnect)
