I am sorry, but I have to agree on that one. And buildbot too: 
libaccess_directory_plugin.a(libaccess_directory_plugin_a-directory.o): In function `ReadDir':/home/buildslave/slave/nb-win32-trunk/build/modules/access/directory.c:461: undefined reference to `_libintl_sprintf'

Easy fix is to revert that commit and if needed revert the commit that made the change from gettext .16 to .16.1
