[vlc-devel] Patches to uses destdir while packaging python (and libtool usuability with 0.8.6x)

I could backport my libtool usability fix from vlc-trunk, but I do not
even know if another 0.8.6 bugfix release is planned before 0.9.0. Could
someone shed some light on this ?
