for the next version of VLC Player which is let the VLC Player to be work on
the different platforms.

Introduction: (Skip if you know what is Bart's PE!)
Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Preinstalled Environment)
bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from the original Windows XP or Windows Server
2003 installation/setup CD, very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.

It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical
user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for
burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus
scan and so on.
This will replace any Dos bootdisk in no time!

I'm Xtreme. I'm working on making and developing a plugin for PE field and i
really made a lot of plugins like
-  Windows Media Center Edition.
-  Media Portal.
-  ACE Mega Codec.
-  K-Lite Mega Codec.
-  SLD Mega Codec.
-  Winamp.
-  Windows Tablet PC (BETA).
and more but those are the most popular and the only plugins in the world.

 You now may be wander what is the useful of getting such VLC Player software
in PE?! As PE can be put on CD/DVD or USB Flash so that you will have a
complete run OS that is portable and can be used any where so that the VLC
Player will gain this advantage and will be a Portable player which mean that
my player in my hand and i can use it to play whatever i need when i want at
any PC which other companies give it to there users.

So i email videolan.org as they are the leaders in players due to they player
don't need any codecs so that i will complete the Multi-Media System with
minimum size that i make and will give the users a lot of options to choose
between different type of player.

Now let's talk about purpose of any program.
Any one or company make a program he have one purpose which is spread this
program and dominate on the field which program support.
1. Support the program with a lot of options.
2. Make a friendly GUI for users.
3. Make a commercials for the program.
The first two points are back to developers team.

Let's answer you question Can you tell me what benefit it would provide?
1. Allow to program to work on another platform which is Preinstalled
Environment (PE). so now the program support Windows and PE so that VLC Player
will contain its leadership in completely new support to their users.
2. By being on the PE the program will be also portable on the PE CD so that
you can use anywhere any time
Thus this will satisfy the first point i said before.
3. By adding an option in the GUI or add the plugin under VLC Player Program
Start Menu this will satisfy the 2nd point which allow users to get they work
fast and easy.
4. Get a free ads for the program in the PE Forums also in the software website
as the first program of its kind that have PE plugin which will be really new.

And last but not least -If you accept my idea i will going to make the plugin
for VLC Player and send it to you to package it in the installation. All of
that for FREE. Also i will keep supporting this plugin.
