I agree with you, I thought changing it to --with-directfb-tree, and do
of course, static linking(I've putted this on TODO).

Well, static linking with directfb is very very specific, because
directfb has many modules and you must choose which modules you want to
compile into (I think all stuff of directfb are compiled in modules), so
I dropped it for while.

One question:

I didn't get, is the path passed to --with-directfb (and any other
module) the target path of make install (the prefix argument,
usually /usr/local/)?
