Oups. As you are not subscribed to the mailing-list, your post need to
go through moderation. And in the moderating queue there is 1 good
message for 99 spam. So moderation errors can happen.

Julen <julen.ugalde AT gmail.com> has started a translation. you should
try to contact him.

you can download the current start ot the translation (7%) at
http://people.videolan.org/~xtophe/l10n/trunk/eu.po
You can by example use poEdit or KBabel to edit the file. Or simply a
text editor. Make sure to use UTF8 as encoding.

If you have questions you can ask on this mailing list or on IRC on
#videolan at irc.freenode.net

When you have made some progress, you can put the file online and send
us the link or send me the file personnaly (as the po file are too big
for the mailing list).
