[vlc-devel] live feeding VLC for streaming on osX

Hi / bonjour !

I'm looking for the best way to feed VLC with some live video in  
order to have VLC stream it.
The live video is something that I create on the fly, it can be video  
or graphics or animations, but
I don't need it to be show in realtime (I'm expecting some buffering  
delays etc, that's not a problem).

I'm working on osx, and I don't know how to approach this.
Should I generate a stream myself as input ?
can I open a data pipe where I'd send my frames ?
