[vlc-devel] Hotkeys - erratic operation.

I'm running vlc version 0.8.6c under Fedora Core 6 and Gnome.

Some hotkeys work erratically on this system.  For example:

I use 'f' to toggle full-screen mode.  When I first start playing a DVD,
the 'f' key won't enter full-screen but it will revert to normal screen
if I've entered full-screen from the right-click menu.  However if I
first enter and exit full-screen from the right-click menu - or - if I
click on the progress bar to advance the playback by some amount, then
'f' will thereafter correctly toggle back and forth between full and
normal screen.

As far as I can tell there's no conflict with the Gnome hotkeys.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know of a fix?
