[vlc-devel] Cygwin debug issues

Hello

I am compiling the latest source with the latest Cygwin (gcc 3.4.4) with 
"--enable-debug", following the instructions in 
http://wiki.videolan.org/Win32CompileCygwin.  I cannot run the compiled 
vlc (with debug symbols) from the source tree - it segfaults before 
getting to main().  I can run the stripped install version but I need to 
run vlc in the debugger.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
