Hi,

I am trying to compile vlc using cygwin on a windows platform like this....

I checked out using command
svn co svn://svn.videolan.org/vlc/trunk vlc-trunk

then i did

$> cd vlc-trunk/extras/contrib
$> ./bootstrap
$> make src

but as the compilation starts windows memory consumption start increasing
and then at some point the system becomes unstable because of no memory
left. ........ cygwin compilation crashes with error CreateprocessA failed,
errno 11, resource currently unavailable.......
in the task manager i can see that the memory consumption rises from
550M/2461M to around 924M/2461M or more..........

I have to reboot my machine to recover from this problem.....
I followed the instruction from vlc wiki developer site to install required
packages for cygwin.......

any body has any idea what could be wrong. a missing configuration or.....
please help

with best regards
Take Care
Atif
