From my personal point of view, the OS X interface / port does not
need a test1 cycle. We published 2 pre-release builds on the forum to
a selected group of users and are done with our tests now. Everything
is fixed that we want to have fixed for 0.8.6d.
I was asked by other members of our team to prepare a test1 for all
releases. If you guys think that we do not need it, feel free to
publish 0.8.6d. There is only one compilation issue left, as
bootstrap constantly keeps failing on Mac OS X due to a certain
gettext upgrade. Once this is fixed, either by hacking configure.ac
or by reverting the gettext upgrade, the bugfix branch is ready to
release as far as I am concerned.

BTW: Rémi: please review my draft for the Security Advisory submitted
to the web-svn-rep so it suits your needs.

Felix
