[vlc-devel] non-const statics and Mozilla plugin crash on multiple instances

Hi,

I rely on the vlc Mozilla plugin for professional use, and need
https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/686 fixed. I'm going to give it a
shot myself if I find the time within the next week or so.

The first thing I'll do is try to get rid of a bunch of non-const
statics that make the code non-reentrant, hoping that this will
already fix #686.

Comments, suggestions etc. welcome.
