If you head said this in your original commit message, I would have  
known this and had definitely reacted differently. Now, it looked like  
a political change, which didn't make much sense (besides breaking  
things).

This was not the intention as you didn't post the reasons behind your  
commit.

As disitributing the Mac OS X binaries is broken now, we will have to  
delay the tagging...
