I'd go with 0.9.1 too. As far as users are concerned, this could just be
named 0.8.7 or 1.0.0. What they care about are the changes, not the name
we chose to give it. (And comparing version numbers with 3 numbers and
no extra modifier is way easier ... i don't know how the update
mechanism handles that)
