This demo doesn't work in terms of changing preferences. It's just  
about the interface. The "Simple Preferences" entry in the MainMenu  
is obviously going to disappear again, once Simple Preferences took  
the place of the complete Preferences and both windows are supplied  
with a switch.

Note that I had to duplicate the cone graphics for OS X, as a bug in  
Xcode prevents copying them from the qt4 folder.
